HARK! Waterloo Christmas Carols
Wrap up warm and head down to Lower Marsh for a free community event.
WeAreWaterloo in partnership with the National Theatre, Vaults Theatre, St John’s Church, and Go-Ahead London brings choirs together from across London.
A vintage open top London bus will provide the stage for the carols and modern Christmas favourites. Don’t miss the Christmas market providing mulled wine, mince pies, stocking fillers, decorations and crafts.
The event is free but don’t forget to bring some change for the collection buckets – any money raised will be donated to the Waterloo Foodbank.

Soak up the sights, sounds and seasonal produce at Borough Market.
The historic arches are already decked with Christmas decorations and that unmistakable scent of mulled wine is in the air. Opening hours are extended to allow shoppers more time to stock up on gifts and source the best ingredients and treats for the big day.
Late night shopping: 20th/21st December until 8pm.
Get into the true Christmas spirit on Thursday night with an evening of authentic food, festive vibes and great music. There’s plenty of festive cheer in the Christmas village where organisers promise “iconic Christmas tunes” performed live by two international artists.

London Bridge City’s Christmas by the River
It doesn’t get more picturesque than this.
This Christmas market returns for the fourth year running set against the stunning views of Tower Bridge, the Tower of London and the City skyline. You’ll find more than 60 stalls selling a range of gifts if you’re stuck for inspiration. Bored of traditional Christmas carols? The Nursery Theatre musical improv group are on hand to help you create your very own original festive tune. (20 December, 1-2pm)
